A forth-class compartment coach built by the DRG in the 1920s.

This coach looks different from the older ones, which were mostly built by Prussian railways. It has less doors and only two axles.

UMBAUWAGEN AB3yge

UMBAUWAGEN (something like converted coaches). After WWII older vehicles were reconstructed in that way. They were always coupled as a pair and able to run 100 km/h. There were B3yg (second class), AB3yg (first and second class) and BD3yg (second class with compartment for baggage). On the picture there is a pair of a AB3yge (the left) and a BD3yge (the right).

THUNDERBOX

This coach is a so-called a Thunderbox. They were the first coaches completely made of steel. That's why they were quite noisy and got that nickname.

Kanzelwagen

The "Kanzelwagen" belonged to the "Blauer Enzian" F-train and is something like a dome car. There are some seats at the end of the car from which you can look at the tracks (if the car is at the end of the train).
